Scrabble players usually don’t have much time to go way out for food (the Prague tourney was a bit of an exception with 1.5 hour lunch breaks, but we took a while to get used to it). We had most of our meals at a Thai fusion cafe called Yam Yam. It was rather tasty, and rather affordable too (in the region of 4-5 Euros for a dish like this served with rice or rice noodles). This fruity dish (IIRC) is an adventurous spin on lamb curry – with grapes and pineapple added to give it a mildly sour tinge. For the record, Kevin McMahon endorses Yam Yam with a rating of 7/10.
It’s rare for me to upload photos of myself. That’s me, having a ball at the Prague Christmas Markets.
That’s not me. I think I’d have been more wary of snatch thefts.
It’s surprising not seeing this on the English McDonald’s menus. Perhaps they have it in America.
The Czech like their Js, Ks and Zs. I like random tidbits.
I had some incredibly difficult games in Prague. For the record, this was how stressed I was before the YUMPS position even came up. My face probably contorted even further as the game went along.
